Yellow Dishcloth

The pattern is called Grandmother's Favorite Dishcloth and I found it when someone gave one to me as a gift. I made this one with Sugar 'n Cream cotton and used size 10 knitting needles instead of the size needles the pattern calls for. I found when I knitted with the size 6 or 7 needles that the dishcloth was too small. They are really easy and fun to make, and they turn out really pretty.
I'm knitting another one in a blue and white variegated color, and I will post a picture of it when I finish it. These make great gifts. You just have to convince the people you are giving them to to actually use them instead of putting them in a drawer so they won't get messed up. When I gave one to my mother-in-law a couple of years ago, she said that it was too pretty to use and she put it in a drawer.

Your dishcloth is very nice! :) I especially love how the edging is. Thanks for the link to the pattern. I am definitely going to make one when I feel like putting down my crochet hooks and grab knitting needles. :P
I am looking forward to seeing your finished crocheted dishcloth. :)
