More Paper Embroidery

Last night I made two more paper embroidery goodies. I really enjoy this form of embroidery. It's very relaxing and I can do it while watching TV or listening to music.

First, is a cute field mouse:

Next, is a Christmas ornament that I'm going to make into a Christmas card:

Mica, thank you so much for your kind words. I'm enjoying the paper embroidery. Last night I finished a pink flamingo that came out really cute. When I get the picture ready, I will post it on my blog.

Your work is so beautiful and delicate! I love it! How do you keep the paper from crinkling??

Hi Blaze, thank you so much for your kind comments. The paper is cardstock, so it doesn't crinkle. I just bought some acid free cardstock at Hobby Lobby. I also bought some 2" x 6" bookmark size cardstock for the bookmarks. Because the cardstock is so sturdy, it doesn't crinkle.

Hi Sharon! :)
I had never seen paper embroidery until I saw yours. It's beautiful!
Hmm, I think I had to learn about it a little more. :)
I definately have to try paper embroidery when I have time!
